Kayla's Published Work & Research

Kayla Lucas Research Areas

Alongside her clinical practice as a registered psychologist in Leduc, Kayla Lucas research spans intergenerational trauma, shame and vulnerability, and social-emotional development in children and adolescents. This work directly shapes how we practise: the therapy families receive here is grounded in current evidence rather than general wellness advice.

Her contributions include lead research on shame and vulnerability, study of intergenerational impacts on the mind and body, and the development of social-emotional skills programming for children and adolescents. To discuss how this research informs care for your family, book an appointment or read more about Kayla.
